Board of Directors

W.T. David Murray, Director

Mr. Murray was formerly the Chairman and CEO of Irontree Oilfield Services Corp. and has held the position since 2002.  He is also the President of Foothills Capital Corp., a small merchant bank with investments in venture capital opportunities. Previously, David was the President and CEO of Bayridge Resources Ltd., a private oil and gas company.  Bayridge was sold in April 1997 to APF Energy Trust.   From 1987 to 1992, Mr. Murray was with Sharwood and Company, an investment bank located in Toronto, Ontario, primarily funding energy sector companies.  During this time, he participated in financing various companies for over $200 million.  Mr. Murray holds a degree from the University of Calgary in Commerce, majoring in finance and accounting.

Elson McDougald - Director

Mr. McDougald is the Chairman of Savanna Energy Services Corp.  McDougald was a co-founder and the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Western Lakota Energy Services Inc. until August 2006, when Western Lakota merged with Savanna.  In addition, he is a Director with CCR Technologies Ltd. 3MC Stock Farms, Phoenix Technologies Income Fund and Decision Dynamics Technology Ltd. 

Mr. McDougald was formerly the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Tetonka Drilling and founder of Laredo Drilling as well as the past Chairman of Alberta Petroleum Equipment Company, Lakeside Industries, Biotechnica and past Director of Vencap Equities and the Alberta Treasury Branches. 

Ross McEachran – Director

Mr. McEachran is owner and founder of Vidal Street Industrial Park Inc., a 33 acre heavy industrial site, based in Ontario, which leases out warehousing, rail lines, rail car storage, lay-down areas and manufacturing facilities.   In 1997 Mr. McEachran purchased Bluewater Country, an adult leisure living resort and reorganized it to custom housing building, building an average of 30 houses per year.  Prior to that, Mr. McEachran served on the Board of Directors for VON, a not-for-profit national health car organization and on committee of the Sarnia and District Chamber of Commerce.  Mr. McEachran is also a major stakeholder in College Park Estates, a 430 lot subdivision within the City of Sarnia.  Mr. McEachran was also the founder and principal of Sarnia Propane, which he sold and 1993, and Ross Steel Fabricators.   Mr. McEachran holds an Executive MBA from Queen’s University.
